About Us

Hi! I’m Becca, and together with my husband Jake, we run Mock Marine Canvas.

Jake handles the business side—quotes, scheduling, and customer communication—while I take care of all fabrication and sewing. I’m the one behind the machine, building each piece from start to finish.

Before starting this business, we spent years living aboard our 44’ catamaran, traveling and experiencing firsthand what marine canvas goes through out on the water. From harsh sun and salt to the “seagull treats,” I learned how important well-made canvas is—not just for how it looks, but how it performs and holds up over time.

After years of traveling for Jake’s work, we settled down in League City, Texas, and began building our business locally. Today, we proudly serve the Clear Lake boating community and are focused on growing our customer base the right way—through quality work and honest service.

I started my canvas journey by completing a training program with North Coast Marine Specialists in Port Clinton, Ohio—an elite marine canvas school that provided a strong foundation in craftsmanship and technique. Over the years, I’ve continued to develop my skills, not only in fabrication, but in understanding which materials and project types are best suited for my performance—and which are outside my specialty. Most recently, I spent the past year sewing for a local company in Kemah, further refining my craft.

Every project we take on is built with care and attention to detail. My goal is simple: create canvas that fits right, looks great, and lasts!
